My old mp3 player does not support ogg format.

Install gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse with apt-get, which contains the lame plugin for gstreamer.

Then follow the instructions at http://www.emcken.dk/weblog/archives/99-MP3-encoding-with-Sound-Juicer.html, you could create a new profile rather than change the existing "CD Quality, Lossy" profile. Or you could follow the online-help of sound-juicer in "Preferences" section.

I tried google notebook several days. It's really amazing!

However, I found if I could add my personal comments after the noted contents, it maybe more meaningful for the user to make a note. Another thing is if I make my notebook public, I hope somebody could use RSS reader to get my note updates, and I also want to subscript to others' public notes.

With these 2 features, I believe we will have another knowledge base on the web (besides wiki/blog/news/mail_list).
